Ukraine & Russia — for what?

I kept silence for a while, just needed some time to reflect and investigate. Many mates texted me and asked if I was ok. The truth has multiple facets- various views, different agendas and visions…

To wrap up, no gain out of this… It won’t benefit us, normal people…

I am Russian, born & lived well in Saint-Petersburg with my dad’s from Crimea. I still remember those mellow summer days in Djankoy, located right on Azov sea. Those days are precious and never forgotten. My relatives in Crimea had a local Ukrainian dialect and I could pick it up so quickly…yes, both nations speak Russian…yet…

It’s extremely painful to think I might never see my family again…and not just me, but millions of souls across the Globe…We are struggling to watch this “horror” movie that seems like a bad dream and we are hoping to wake up! Life can be lost in seconds…

For what? I am mature enough to understand the time… it’s fast! Politicians decided to divide nations..ok…for What?

People get killed..for what? Plenty of refugees now seeking a safe home…for what? Money, Greed, Geopolitics…for what?

As odd as it seems, this situation doesn’t make sense to me. I am Russian, Ukrainian and Australian. And, each culture has unique peculiarities and I am proud of all “Three heads of the Dragon”, so to speak. The 21st century should bring us wisdom as we learnt from our mistakes, didn’t we?

So, what does it mean? Ukraine Russia

I am not taking sides! I managed to live in various cultures, environments. We, people, breathe the same air, eat the same food, talk about the same topics ( even in different languages) -trust me on this. Let’s politics not divide us! We shouldn’t allow that to happen!

For what?

For Peace in the World, for Life, for Our kids and for LOVE!
